Info: PG-13, John/Sherlock, 14050 words
Summary: John still gets nightmares about Afghanistan. That's the worst part of it all, he thinks -- he still has dreams about sand and drowning to death in his own blood. But they're more memory than nightmare.
Notes: This fic is clever in so many ways, and gorgeously written as well. John is a ghost, Sherlock moves into his former flat, and they get on just fine.
Illogical, Dead and Walking (LJ Mirror)
By: toesohnoes (toestastegood)
Info: PG-13, John/Sherlock, 1600 words
Summary: When the dead start walking, Sherlock is determined to find the logical explanation.
Notes: Somehow this fic manages to be both cracky snapshot and disconcertingly genuine all at the same time. The character voices are terrific. This is EXACTLY how Sherlock Holmes would respond to a zombie apocalypse, and John's consternation is absolutely perfect.
Pilot Study

Info: John/Sherlock, PG-13, 5800 words
Summary: John is starting to realise something, and he thinks it might be about Sherlock. Sherlock conducts a pilot study and John is more than a little out of the loop.
Notes: Slightly surreal and entirely brilliant. The structure of this fic is strange but works well, and I really loved the author's handling of Harry as a character.
