Summary: Alex was there for Peggy when her life took a sharp, horrific turn-- and after an away mission goes equally sideways for Alex, Peggy is right by his side.
Notes: This might be the best Peggy I've read in any fic to date, and an Alexander who needs her friendship and support. The character dynamics are beautifully sketched. The harms done are enormous, but you can also feel strength and hope here. Alexander is not okay. But he's stubborn and strong, and he's not giving up without a fight.

Notes: This fic is absolutely brutal. Brilliantly written, aching and destructive and shattered. Honestly, I can't do a description justice for this one. It's gorgeous and vicious. Two characters hurting each other unforgivably, with no apparent way out of the trap they're caught in. Just. It's so good.
