This fic gets its own separate post because it's so good and so weird and so overwhelmingly genius that I just don't even know what to do with it. Can't believe someone not only wrote fanfiction for "The Lottery," but did it so well that it feels like some kind of official companion piece to the original. Goddamn incredible. Here it is:
